Crime Scene Tripod for UV Viewer

The Crime Scene Tripod is used to stabilize the UV Viewer for photographing latent fingerprints visible in 254nm UV light. The UV Viewer (sold separately) attaches to the tripod in seconds with a single thumbscrew.

It is self-standing on horizontal surfaces, but can be hand held on vertical surfaces to insure a sharp photograph. Three non-slip rubber feet insure that the Crime Scene Tripod stays in place. It comes complete with two adjustable battery operated 254nm UV lights.
An attached scale can be positioned laterally on any side of the triangular base.

The Crime Scene Tripod is ruggedly constructed out of machined high strength aluminum alloy and is very robust and durable, yet lightweight.

Although it can be left assembled, it can also be quickly broken down into a compact package and stored or transported in an optional Pelican® case. It can be easily assembled at the crime scene with no tools required. All of the fasteners are captive thumb screws, so misplacing them is never a problem.
 
If purchased along with the UV Viewer Kit, the Crime Scene Tripod can be included in the same Pelican® case as the UV Viewer Kit.
