BLU-FUZE
The BLU-Fuze Telemetry (Ballistics Logging Unit) family of flight instrumentation has been designed to provide an extensive array of sensors to measure in-bore and in-flight performance of mortars and projectiles. The sensors are packaged into a standard NATO fuze envelope. It is capable of withstanding up to 20,000 G's. Customized packaging can be provided upon request. An S-Band transmitter telemeters recorded data to a suitably equipped ground station. Typical range exceeds 20,000 meters. The systems powers on when the battery pack located in the fuze charge cup is attached to the fuze body. The endurance exceeds 45 minutes after attachment of the battery pack.
